Although I was a solo traveler I got a good reception and the service was super good. I ate the fish of the day with potatoes and salad and this was splendid as well. Unfiltered beer tasted good as well. This was my first proper meal in Austria, so I'm hoping all meals are this good or better.

Good staff - they offered baby chair and tried to make our baby laugh. Interesting but not superb meals. They don't accept plastic cards.

A wonderful dining experience for people with rich, hearty appetites. The Maitre'd was a fantastic host with a very authentic sense of humour and fun. This is authentic mountain food at it's best with rich broths, hearty stews and delicately balanced fish dishes. A great dining experience.

Its hard to serve bad food in austria, but this place managed. The owner/ waiter was not very welcoming also mentioning he is the only one open so we should be happy to eat there.

Had a really outstanding, authentic Austrian meal. Owner gave us great advice on choices & wine. I normally don't like schnapps but he gave us delicious pine cone & honey schnapps. Really well-priced.

Just across from the railway station. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. They do a good trout. The staff were very friendly and spoke good English

We've been in Orania Stuberl four times in two years. Why? Because the food is delicious, employees are very polite, and the interior design is genuine Austrian. They have menu and daily specials. Atmosphere is very nice and quiet and yes, is true, the host is selecting its customers. Advice: if you want to eat in Orania Stuberl, make a... More

Tried this restaurant because of online rankings. We had to wait around town for a while for it to open. There are quite a few shops around to spend some time. The server greeted us at the door as she was putting up Christmas decorations. We ordered some local beers and food including local deer. Everything was delicious. Service was... More

The food there was tasty but the menu is rather limited. They had also day specials. They do not accept cards. The host seemed somehow unfriendly in the beginning, but I think he was nice after a while.

This place is popular with the Austrians and is no doubt great for traditional Austrian fare. The trout was a special on the menu on the day I visited. For my 19 euros I got a not very big trout, some potatoes and a mixed salad. This was more expensive and poorer quality than similar fish dishes at what are... More
