Yeah, so, a little off the beaten path, a short and inexpensive (50 Cordobas) taxi ride and you'll find Las Colinas. Dirt floor, naïve art on the walls. Overly attentive waiters who seem like they're from some fine hotel from the past. And then your fish arrives... raw... you pick the one(s) that look best to you. A delightful meal.... More

Recommended by our local tour guide. The restaurant sent a car to collect us. Huge building, impressive wooden ceiling, dirt floor. Would seat 100 + but only a few people eating. Shared a large fish between 2. Immaculately filleted, we didn't find a single bone! $40 for the meal including 2 starters and a bottle of very acceptable Chilean white... More

Wonderful and authentic experience. Restaurant let you pick the fish (guatope). Deep fried but very moist inside. Highly recommended. A bit out of tourist spots. Better let someone local to take you there.

Like many others we had read about Las Colinas as the place for the river fish Guapote. It didn't disappoint. Meaty fish that had been de-boned and fried. Thin crisp skin and succulent white fish within. Served with fires, rice, salad and a sweet and sour and style vegetable topping. Choose your fish size- we picked a medium and shared.... More

The specialty is guapote fish from Lake Nicaragua. The restaurant is located outside of the historic district in a sketchy neighborhood. Don't let that stop you, but take a taxi. Get a large fish and share it rather than two small fish. people come from Managua to go to Las Colinas restaurant. Not fancy at all, dirt on the floor,... More

I have eaten at Las Colinas countless times and am always delighted!! Guapote is a local fish caught off Ometepe in Lake Nicaragua and is a sweet white meat that is delicious. Colinas serves it sin espalda, without spine or bones so you can really dig in, succulent, fresh fish in either tomate o al ajillo, both styles are excellent... More

In Granada, we had a few (fantastic) steak dinners but wanted to try fish from the lake and our hotel recommended Las Colinas. It turned out to be some of the best fish we had during our entire trip. We only had fish there (they bring it to your table to show size :) and their grilled whole fish was... More

La Sabaneta is infamous or notorious for crime and poverty. You don't want to be here at night without a ride. The restaurant gets rave reviews, but, honestly, you're not getting anything special. We waited 15 minutes for service, followed by 15 minutes or more for orders to be taken. THEN, the food came fast. No followup, no afterservice. I... More

Hello! I recommend this restaurant; the food is so good! If you go to Granada you MUST to go to Las Colinas. They accept cash (córdobas and dollars) and credit card. After a great meal you can go to Las Isletas de Granada (the restaurant is near to the port) and have a great time.

Our tour planer took us to this place. It was a rustic restaurant! They showed you the fish before you ordered it! The fish was very fresh and delicious! They cooked the whole fish for us. The fish bones were taken out somehow before they fried it. With their simple and delicious sauce on top it. Yammee!
