Sit outside with beautiful view of the lake, or inside where the service is just as attentive. Then take the family on a stroll along the shoreline, there is a playground nearby for smaller children, very big photo opportunities for the families gathering.

We were a party of three waiting for the fourth guest to arrive. The fourth quest was driving about 70 miles to meet us. This special occasion was to reunite old friends who haven't seen each other for years. Despite having reservations for Sunday Brunch at 1130, my friend was told by the hostess that there were no reservations in... More

We visited relatives in Richmond and spent an enjoyable Saturday evening at dinner at the Boathouse. Beautiful setting on a reservoir. Wonderful food enjoyed on the outdoor patio. Seafood was terrific and the steak was perfectly cooked. A bit pricey but it was worth the splurge. We had visited the Boathouse many years ago when it was Sunday's. We noticed... More

My husband & I made reservations for 6:45 PM. We were seated at 7 PM. The restaurant was very busy. We didn't get our food until 7:45 PM. Everything was good. My husband had excellent Crab Cakes, average Fried Shrimp, and average Oysters. The hushpuppies were delicious. I had excellent grilled Shrimp, good mashed potatoes and asparagus. Our waiter, Lucas... More

A group of us were on town for business and we went to eat at the boat house. It was a little hard to find, but once we found it we loved it! The food was a great portion size and delicious! If you want to eat outside and have a great view of the lake, this is the place.

The Boathouse was busy, but the server was friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the music and laid back ambiance. The seafood was terrific! Enjoyed watching the sunset. There is a fire pit area and a well stocked bar, so any wait is made easier. I 'd love to go there again!

Easter Sunday family outing. buffet was well managed with tasty food that was constantly being changed (unlike many buffet places that just change the steam table water). Service was friendly (Kyle) and not rushed. As soon as got up, plate was gone. $250 for 4 adults and 2 children, including tip. Buffet staff were explaining each dish. Tough decision on... More

The dinner started by opening my cloth napkin to find a wad of chewing gum. Then I ordered fried oysters for an appetizer. My husband tried one and bit into a piece of shell that was about a half an inch square. We waited a long time for each course. After about 25 minutes waiting for the main course we... More

A little off the beaten path and worth the effort to find. Joined friends for dinner and cocktails in prep for evening out. We enjoyed a flight of oysters and fried zucchini chips as appetizers. Dinner included Salmon, beef filet, bacon wrapped scallops. Best salted caramel creme brûlée ❤️ ever! Evan was our server. He was attentive and pleasant. Would... More
