This is a German run restaurant. The food is delicious and the desserts are homemade with a good variety. I love the banana foster cheesecake! Great place for a date night or just having coffee/dessert.

We had dinner with friends recently at Main Street and we enjoyed the Octoberfest atmosphere. I ordered the sauerbraten and it was very good. My wife ordered pork medallions and she enjoyed the meal, but we were disappointed with the quality of the spaetzle. The German beers are an added plus and the desserts were outstanding.

What a wonderful gem to discover! We did plan ahead and made dinner reservations, and were seated promptly. Cozy place, converted space not very large. The menu was a lot more German/European than I had expected, and they were just starting their Octoberfest menu. That being said, there were some wonderful choices. It’s very often the case that I’ll peruse... More

Own your table for the night, as is done in Europe. You're entering a time-warp, so leave impatience outside. And dine with superb quality food and kind, willing staff. Top-notch food-October means German specialities and if you lie Roulade and red cabbage and pastries from The Old World...look no further. Flaws include a minimum of meat in some soups and... More

My wife and I have been here many times, and it's always excellent. They serve high quality, European (German/Swiss) food that is plated very well. The atmosphere is quiet and romantic, and there is always something new on the menu. They roll a dessert cart around to your table after dinner, but I would recommend ordering either the Crème Brulee... More

This restaurant is popular with the locals but not so for us. It was very noisy inside and we found it hard to converse. The schnitzels were OK, the fries tasted as though they had been cooked long before and kept heated. The desserts looked very unappealing with paper stuck to the sides of the sliced cakes to stop them... More

Found this in AAA Book. It was just a stop on 1000 miles route. And it was great. A touch of 'old Europe". My sis who lives in Europe and just visited Austria a month ago, admitted the food was perfect. Thou (our -0.5 points) too salty. there is a little mix of not only Austrian/German bur french cuisine as... More

I started the meal with a bowl of lentil/Bacon soup. the flavor was incredible. For the main course I enjoyed the Dijon crusted lamb; it was outstanding. For desert, the fresh fruit tort was suggested, it was an excellent suggestion. It wasn't overly sweet, the fresh fruit really came out. It was all in all a very good meal. I'd... More

For those of you that haven't recently been to Main Street Eatery, you are missing out on some wonderful dishes, including their Oktoberfest menu! The restaurant's atmosphere is sophisticated, but at the the same time, family friendly. Did I mention service? Main Street has an exceptional staff, that literally understands your needs before you do. Kudos to Urs and Michelle... More

I've eaten at Main Street Eatery many times since it opened. For me, it is more of a special occasion spot because the price point is a little higher than my usual weeknight out meal. Yes, it is a place with atmosphere and ambience. The food is generally very good. I was extremely disappointed in the mussels that were a... More
