One of the best and true italien restaurants in Washington DC area. They are known for their lamb chops, but all their dishes are unique and excellent. I love the so called cleopatra, sea food with pasta.

I stopped in yesterday (Wednesday) for an impromptu lunch with 3 colleagues. White linen service, Frank Sinatra playing softly in the background, Veal Chop, Pasta, Grilled Salmon, Chicken Romana, fresh bread, Motto Cabernet...wonderful. Great service, great food, great atmosphere, can't wait to return.
We love this restaurant! The food is excellent! Their frutti d'mari was superb-large scallops, shrimps, mussels which were on the small size (nit picking here) and lobster tail. Their veal scallopini over linguine was equally delicious. We were stuffed! Yes it is pricey but it was for a special occasion so, we splurged. Wine list is okay and very expensive.... More
When my boss wanted to take me and a couple others out to lunch, I suggested Zeffirelli's as I had always wanted to go. We had a lunch reservation but the place never truly filled up though they had a steady flux of customers. I server was very attentive and we had a nice table by the front window. Throughout... More
I have been here a few times over the years, but this is my first review. We came here for my son's birthday and he chose this place as he has done the last few years. The server was super nice and attentive. Everyone enjoyed the meals, which included Gnocchi Pomodoro, Papparadelle e Ragu, Branzino Capri, and shimp scampi. I... More
We used to come here often about 15 years ago. For some reason, we stopped coming. We decided to return, this time on a Friday night. Have celebrated many special occasions here including, most recently, my daughter's 21st birthday. The menu is an offshoot long ago from icon Da Domenico's in Tysons - especially the huge veal chop. Other Italian specialties like the branzino are also very good and they specialize in a lot of different seafood pastas. Usual assortment of desserts including tiramisu (of course).... More
Stepping into Zeffirelli's is like going back to the 1950s---decor, service, menu, presentation, and Dean Martin on the speakers. Routine Italian menu, routinely prepared, presented and served.
