I only wish I had consulted TripAdvisor prior to wasting time, calories and money here. Had the salmon, so dry, so sauce, worst ever. Husband had crab cakes, awful. Presentation better at McDonalds. However beer was cold.

This is a pleasant, old-fashioned downtown restaurant with wood floors. I was there twice in the past week. The catfish special, with fries, at $7.95, was a solid value. The vegetable beef soup was pretty good and tasted home made. Today the hamburger was ok,...More
A variety of meal selections at fair prices. A tastefully restored old mill with tasty meal offerings. First time visitor, was not disappointed.
I had the sirloin steak and my husband had the salmon. Both dinners were good, but not great. The service was good and decor of the place was very interesting.

We went back to Main Street for our 3rd time this past weekend and it lacked the appeal of former visits. Service was still good, but the food was just mediocre. Next time we're in Front Royal, we'll give a different restaurant a shot.
