Sitting at the restraint now. Two of the hot table items are ice cold. Has completely turned me off. Never will eat here again.

Convenient location with ample parking, I was surprised to find such a nice Chinese buffet in the little town of Front Royal. The place looked clean and there was lots of different offerings on the buffet. My all time favorites, pepper chicken, coconut chicken, peanut chicken, General Tso's. and lots more. The only reason i didn't give the resturant 5... More
China City Buffet was clean with nice decor. The bamboo shoots everywhere were kind of neat, giving it an appropriate ambiance. For a Saturday afternoon, it was not very busy. This was reflected in the food, in that many of the dishes sat for long periods of time, drying out, and getting old. There were lots of offerings for a small... More
The food was not fresh on the buffet, though it was very typical chinese buffet foods. It is inexpensive and a good place to go for a decent amount of food.
Plastic grapes and vines decorate the high ceilings lending a bit of an Italian touch to China City. Lots of imitation crabmeat and potato dishes on the buffet. Fish floating in water. Dried-out sushi. Dried-out wasabi. Luke-warm soup. Desserts of pudding, Jell-O, and tasteless cookies. Not my idea of a Chinese restaurant.
This place never disappoints. They have endless options to chose from and the food is down right delicious. I have yet to find a Chinese buffet any better than this one! The food is always hot and fresh. If something happens to get low on the buffet, they are quick to bring out more fresh food. The service is also... More
The food was ok nothing special. Seems like they use hot sauce to make some food spicy and not chili's which they should use. The egg roll was terrible really needs to be changed. Wonton soup was probably the best thing I had. I'll probably be back for the green beans and vegetables.
I dont like warm food or scraping the pan to get the last little scraps . To me a buffet means fresh appealing food served hot. It wasn't there. Im glad my hot tea was hot. The lomein was warm, the baked seafood was greasy. Im not sure if the general so chicken was chicken..it was like chewing 3 day... More
