I usually shy away from an Americano but I showed up just before closing and the brewed coffee was done. I ordered an Americano with a double shot of Espresso and it was one of the best cups of coffee I have had in a...More
This place reminds me of what Starbucks was 25-30 years ago. A comfortable place to drink simple, yet delicious coffee drinks with the bean roaster in plain view. I wish I was there when they were actually roasting beans.

So I'm not a big coffee drinker. I prefer Dunkin Donuts to other coffee. Well I decided to visit, I'd rather give my money to a local business than a chain. I asked for the weakest brew and she recommended one (can't remember the name)....More
We were in Elkton recently for their autumn festival, and we stopped by the Blue Elk Coffee Shop.
The service was very friendly… And the coffee was very good. We also enjoyed some excellent pumpkin spice cookies.
We will definitely go back when we are...More

The coffee shop itself is a large and inviting space and the coffee is phenomenal. I haven't tried the baked goods as I'm usually just after some coffee to recharge and a nice space to relax in. The Blue Elk fits the bill.
The menu is light it what they do serve is real good. I had a blue elk coffee with shot of expresso. It was very tasty. They have live music on sat mornings. Our visit was bluegrass. The 3 fellas playing were great.
Great atmosphere for a local student to be able to work on homework. However, at the same time it’s a great place to get together with friends or family and relax. Their coffee was amazing and the mochas were one of the best I have...More
Glad we stopped in for cup of coffee and tea. Great experience from coffee, to the chalk table tops, and the spontaneous guitar serenade. The smell was heavenly and it tasted so good my husband drank it blank. The green tea was really great too.
