Great value. Big serving. My wife and I go once in a while for variety when eating out. Not far from Interstate 81.

I have eaten school cafeteria food that was far better. The food appeared to be lukewarm steam-table leftovers from lunch. If they are not going to cook dinner to order, then they should not be open in the late afternoon. The service was non-attentive and it was sullen, once I did manage to get their attention. Left the meal virtually... More

The wife and I come here all the time and enjoy the sushi and hibachi. NOT the restaurant we go to for service. Staff is always very busy being run around. A good thing for the business, I guess, but not good for individual service expectations. Not something to prevent us from coming though!

The combination dinners are great for the price. I had the terryraki steak with soup and a lettuce salad with ranch dressing. Dont expect a gourmet dinner for thr price. The bathrooms could use some cleaning.

We knew the quality of food probably so so when we checked out the menu, entrees were inexpensive (for a Japanese restaurant). We tried different bento boxes which came with miso soup and salad. The miso soup was like clear broth with a few small pieces of scallions and mushrooms not really miso soup. Salads were soaked with ginger dressing... More

Sakura runs the gamut from simple sushi and sashimi through fried rice and tempura and on through special sushi rolls, hibachi entrees and combination plates. If you want a combination not listed on the menu, don't hesitate to ask. The service is quick and careful (you may have to be a little patient trying to understand servers who don't speak... More

Tonight we took our Indiana teenage food critics for their very first visit to Sakura. They left unimpressed and wanting to know why I wasted my money. The food concept is wonderful but a person orders a entree for it to be tasty and fulfilling. Perhaps better cooks with a certain degree of food knowledge is needed in the kitchen.
