not open during peak tourist hours; usually dimly lit and a little grimey; the bakery case is full of flies, and the whole place needs a good old-fashioned cleaning; pastries are average tasting and over-priced

We ordered a birthday cake from sugarbakers and had it delivered to Bill's and they added it to our dinner check. The cake was delicious and the service was so convenient. Thanks again!

We visited Sugarbakers at ~11 AM and there wasn't' much left. We got donuts and it was delish! Sells out super quickley, though - they said if we wanted sticky buns, we had to get there at their opening time (730) :0

Stop into Sugarbakers before our Island Cruise for coffee and a couple of baked goods. And they were good. They were so large we were able to snack on them throughout the day.

Sugarbakers has been my family's favorite for many years. The pastry is fresh with a nice selection. The staff is always polite. Even when there is a line, they keep it moving.

What can I say...YUM. This was actually the only place open first thing in the morning. A lot of places did not open til 9am. We were so happy to see the "open" sign. The donuts are fresh and oh so wonderful. Worth the trip

This place is a MUST! Their sticky buns are literally finger licking good! They are no doubt the best we have ever had! They are warm, and gooey, and sweet and I want one right now! Go behind the shop you can eat your goodies by the dock. Also very, very close to the shop is the memorial to Misty... More

For fresh baked goodies on the island, come here. Don't be surprised if there is a line. Don't worry, it goes fast. You can eat in or take out. They always have doughnuts and a variety of muffins, Danish and turnovers. Ask for other items too. Eat in or take out.

Bagel, donut and iced coffee were excellent. However, I understand it's a small shop and gets busy but they were extremely unorganized. Waited a minimum of 10 mins just for an iced coffee. Will return but they should work on their organization behind the counter.

Stopped in while waiting to go on Captain Dan's Pony Tour. Had a hot, fresh, delicious cinnamon donut and bought a loaf of delicious wheat bread! It was sooooo good that I will probably drive back for more soon and I live over an hour away!
