Went for "brunch"; ordered french toast which is normally quite filling. NOT HERE, one slice for $14. Service was slow, getting food, what little of it there was was even slower. Won't go back.

My wife and I have been to Brookville restaurant now three times and have found it consistory good. The first time we had a pulled pork sandwich, the second time we had a hamburger, and the last time (I was solo this last time) I...More
Harrison Keevil's food is my absolute favorite in town. Everything is local and exceptionally prepared. I go in for the burgers, sausages, and meat, but always end up loving the vegetables just as much. Buffalo Broccoli, chicken wings, and other specials are always fantastic. And...More
We were in town for a college visit. The Brookville was very good. The menu is very limited (especially this time of year) but the food is very tasty with good portions. We liked the idea of local farm to table. The service was very...More
A really cool restaurant. Cozy, delicious food and superior service. We were a group of 12-15 and the wait staff never missed a beat. The focus on local cuisine is a standout. The food was unique and well-presented.

We went with another couple who love this place, so we were expecting great things. Bacon popcorn was very good; cookies for dessert were awesome. However, the items in between were fine but not worth the price. The chicken biscuit billed as an appetizer was,...More
On a beautiful Friday evening in July, the Charlottesville pedestrian mall area was teeming with people. There were many restaurants from which to choose, and while we were looking at various restaurants' posted menus, we overheard a couple of people saying how wonderful Brookville Restaurant...More
This place is pants button-popping amazing! Firstly, the portions are pretty large and very satisfying. I've eaten here twice now on visits to Charlottesville, and I have always had leftover entrees. I've had the burger and my husband had the chicken and waffles. I can't...More
Delicious dinner with fresh, local food. I would have given it 5 stars but 2 of the 3 of us got our glasses of wine right away. Our 3rd diner companion waited and waited for his mixed drink. Not sure what that was all about....More
