The place is not very beautiful, but Salsa nights are really fun! Usually they are on Wednesdays and there are free salsa lessons at the beginning of the night. It's a great place to meet people from all over Latin America. I've never had food there though...

Nephew, VT student, took us there for lunch. Huge sandwiches that were pretty tasty. Not best I ever had, but pretty good. Fun college vibe. Would go back, and I'm pretty picky

My husband and I tried their Buy One Get One Free special on a Wednesday afternoon. This place is no longer on Turner Street in Blacksburg, but right in the downtown area. You have to go down some stairs to get inside, and the place usually has live music, so it has a "venue" feel to it (nothing fancy, a... More

Excellent, well priced food. Get your money's worth! There are many meat offerings, but also many for those who prefer just veggies.

We had an appointment in Blacksburg and saw an ad for this quaint little place and I decided, why not. This is just around the corner from the VA TECH Campus and in the basement of the building. My husband looked at me like I had lost my mind since I have had knee replacements and steps aren't my favorite... More

Great College Town Sandwich Shop, Locally owned and operated. Owner has lived in Blacksburg all his life and "is not going anywhere" Been going there for years each time I visit Blacksburg. Home-made bread daily. Creative names for great subs, or build your own. If you are a regular and have a unique sub the owner likes, he names it... More

Since working out of town and being new to the area I was intraduced to this hole in the ground dive bar of sorts, Was very skeptical when I pulled up to see a heavy steel door leading downstairs with a very rough looking stairwell to be greeted by an old dive bar Was NOT impressed at first but once... My husband and I came here during Blacksburg's Restaurant Week. As the previous reviewer said, it's a bit shady on the outside, but it's decent inside. It has a section for pool tables, a bar, and tables throughout the rest of the restaurant. I can't recall the prices exactly, but it was a great deal for the amount of food... More

Heard about the place from a friend. From the outside it does look a little shady and you have to go down underground by about 20 steps to the basement level. Its a bit dirty and old and run down looking so if that kind of thing bothers you then don't go. Once you're inside it looks like an old... More

The sandwiches are stuffed and large! The value is incredible for what you get. All meals come with chips, drink and cookie. It is a frills-free atmosphere and is rather scary looking inside if you are not used to it. Note: To access the restaurant, you have to go down some steep stairs off of Draper Road. Not sure, but...
