After eating the chick en and shrimp over greens, which tasted a bit off but we attributed that to the balsamic, my friend got violently ill. We went back to tell the restaurant the next day and the manager said he'd tell the cook and...More

Love the atmosphere at the 1846. Warm and cozy. Food is always good and fresh. The live music is also a plus.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I had the tenderloin tips and they were delicious....perfect really. My husband had some sort of honey coated salmon which he loved. The waitresses were very nice and super efficient. It was reasonably priced. We will go back for sure.

Food was wonderful and presented beautifully, the space is pretty and very 'Vermont' but the service isn't great. At all. Wasn't impressed. The younger bartender is good, but waitresses are not at all. And the older bartender was rude to me. Not impressed.
