Three different people recommended this place to use. After eating there I see why. I had the brisket and a few micro brews. My favorite was "Alchemist heady topper". They have over 100 beers to choose from.

My wife and I had dinner here and tried some of their own beers as well as a few on draft from other breweries. The staff was very flexible in building a few small plates to share so we could try a few different menu items. The style is essentially pig cooked in different ways, mainly southern barbecue style. We... More

My wife and I were in Waterbury for a weekend getaway and we both love BBQ. Needless to say we were not disappointed as the food was fantastic and reasonably priced. They have a huge beer selection and have thier own brewery behind the restaurant. The waitstaff was great! Very friendly and they take great care of you! We had... More

Plant-based Tempeh dish, completely destroyed in flavor, ingredients and content. Grease meal, the Blackened green beans were greasy and salty. The collar greens with bacon chunks and greasy so unhealthy. It is ashamed that restaurants like PP is making people sick and worse of all, they have no healthy options. I vote to put this restaurant out of business if... More

Checked in with the hostess with about a 20 minute wait. Went to the brewery out back and it was awesome! Tried their brand brews and was not disappointed. Table was ready in 15 minutes. Ordered the dirty south burger with a side of cheddar grits. Born and raised in the south and these white cheddar cheese grits were some... More

Yes, they serve Heady Topper. Now that is out of the way... A review of the poutine, burger, and a side of BBQ brisket. Poutine: gravy yumminess! plenty of cheese and fries Burger: grass fed beef makes the meat less fatty but the flavors make up for the juiciness a side of brisket: a way to get some BBQ without... We ordered a special salad, brisket plate, and chopped BBQ plate. The chopped BBQ was amazing, and the Carolina style sauce is also amazing. The brisket was not as flavorful and a little tough. Service was fast, but perhaps a little too curt.

I gave this place a rating of 3 because there might be a different standard for bbq in Vermont (my heart told me to rate this place with a 2). I'm originally from Texas, and to me and my brethren, the true judge of a barbeque spot is its brisket. I ordered the sliced beef brisket and was disappointed that... More

first of all, the negative. We came on a Saturday for lunch and had a bit of a wait. Pretty long. BUT, we should have known better. We went to Red Hen Bakery a few miles down the road first. We should have given our name, then went to the Red Hen and returned. I digress. The brisket is great.... More
