A place to get a great burger. Especially good in warmer weather due to the outdoor seating area. The service was good, not great, but the burgers and the smoked chicken wings are just yummy.

The Blue Donkey has some of the best burgers I have ever eaten. Order at the counter and they will bring your order to your table. these burgers were great, I had the Rodeo and my wife had the Southwest and both of us were happy with our choices. Burger with fries and topping $12.00 and well worth it.

We were looking for lunch after having two spa treatments at Stoweflake resort and spa. Speciality Burgers looked good so we went in. The prices were a bit steep $12+ for a burger and $7 for a hard cider. However they sure tasted great. Hand made with great toppings. So, give them a try!

Because the eating establishment my daughter and I intended to dine at was closed, we decided to give the Blue Donkey I try. It is not fancy or fine dining, by any means; however, I have to say I was pleasantly impressed with the food. The service was quick and there was a good menu selection. For two wraps, fries... Had great burgers and fries here!! Burgers are large and delicious and fries are well above average! Wait on food at lunchtime so need to allow for that. This is not a fast food restaurant.

I love a good burger and fries but to take 30+ minutes to serve when there is little customers is crazy. Not very personal staff and it's more serve yourself. So burgers get a 8 and service a 2

We visited during operating hours (3pm) during the Stowe Arts & Craft Festival. The eating area was about half full of diners. As soon as we walked in we were told, "We're not serving food now". No explanation.

Thought we'd give Blue Donkey a try as we assumed it must be good because the place was packed. Casual atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. Placed our order at the counter. Took a while for our order to arrive. Have to say, we were a bit disappointed as it was just an average burger and fries. Maybe we caught... More

Stopped at the Blue Donkey on a Sunday afternoon for a little bite to eat. Found a small counter and kitchen with ample indoor/outdoor seating and additional outdoor seating. They even had a couple of TV's with NFL Sunday Ticket playing. Burgers were cooked to order and definitely fresh, fries were hot and crispy. Great atmosphere. Service was not needed,... More

Go for the burgers although the pulled pork sounded good but they were out. We did take home but the atmosphere in this tiny restaurant was fun too.
