Al's on Hwy 2 offers fast, fresh, tasty little burgers, really excellent fries and milkshakes. The staff are friendly, the food is good and the prices are fair - all offered in an authentic American 1950s burger joint. Many visits have NEVER disappointed us and...More

I rarely eat a hamburger of fries but yesterday was an exception. A really good bacon cheeseburger and fries (that are cooked in beef tow I suspect) at a very reasonable cost. The whole atmosphere is very 60s and all was clean and pleasant

Don't understand this place- the burgers and fries have a long standing following. I go back every few years and find it way too greasy and gross. Grease isn't the big deal; gross tasting food is. Most have some charm that eludes me.

Al's has been around for 3 generations in my family! The outdoor playground is a hit for the small fry. Frequently you will see sports teams lining up at the outdoor Creemee stand. It is fun standing in line and watching the crew work on...More

So this place was ranked high so I figured I would check it out and I was not impressed. First the hamburgers are sliders which is fine to me till you charge 70 cents for all add on. So all you get without extra cost...More

I went to Al's for an early lunch, the line was short at 11:10 AM, the service fast and the food always delicious. Lunch is a standard for me, a pepper steak with raw onion and ketchup, a cup of fries and a Vanilla Shake....More
