Look it is no secret from those who know me that Keepers Country Cafe is my go to restaurant. Lemme give you a further example of why. Several weeks ago I went down on a snowy evening about seven. They were closed. This has never happened before. Well the reason is that Chris the chef's wife Gosha told Chris the... More

When the owners of a restaurant are chef and front manager and that their living depends on the consistency of their cuisine and customer experience it becomes a prime criteria for me. When the owners are husband and wife as Chris and Gosha are and they are onsite every time the restaurant is open and they are friendly and engaging... More

We always eat at Keeper's when we visit Vermont and they never disappoint. The menu is always changing in imaginative ways and they use locally sourced food. I had the salmon and it was exquisitely and perfectly prepared. Husband had the white clam papardelle. You must have the creme brulee!

Excellent restaurant with good variety of locally sourced and seasonal food. Above average service and food. Would highly recommend this Cafe - but expect to pay a little bit more

This is a farm to table restaurant with a changing menu. The atmosphere was quiet more relaxing and the food was amazing. So good recommend the French onion soup is amazing. I had a burger that was amazing so fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend stopping out to try, it will be worth it.

We have a second home in Woodstock. It's a short drive from South Woodstock to get to Keeper's and we've gone a few times. We had a very nice meal on Oct 1 at Keeper's. Our table had the burger (great fries!), salmon, and duck and everyone was happy with their meal. Our waiter was very pleasant and helpful. We... More

If you are looking for a farm to table restaurant check this spot out. It is located on route 106 in Reading. The inside is very comfortable and welcoming. I believe it is family owned and they all do a wonderful job making diners feel welcome. As for the food, all three of us had clean plates at the end.... More

I was looking for a good restaurant between Ludlow and Woodstock (where the two parties in our group were staying), and came across some nice reviews for Keeper's online. We were not disappointed! A scenic drive along winding country roads led us to the warm, welcoming cafe, with rocking chairs on the front porch and beautiful quilts decorating the interior.... More
