Great place for business lunch with coworkers. Seats in bar window give room to spread out, bar is warm and inviting, the craft beer selection is extensive and food is great. Try the tavern burger with a poutine side dish.

Had a late lunch at the Two brothers tavern. Nice selection of food and wine including some very good local VT wine. Our group had salads and soup and some wings. Autumn Cobb salads were fresh and had a nice variety of ingredients. Wings were...More

We have eaten here in the past a couple times. This time found food portions on small to average size for price. Local beers overpriced. Quality of food average, living on past, I would try someplace that wants to work a little harder for my...More

Nice pub/bar in Middlebury that serves top notch food. Started out with oysters that were fresh and sweet served with two different dipping sauces. Followed by the grilled Spanish octopus which was tender and delicious. The main course was the Huntsman's Pie made with venison,...More

While walking in the downtown area, this place got recommended by a local. It looked like a fun place, with dollar bills on the ceiling. Very unfriendly service, overpriced and tried charging us twice on a few items. Getting those reversed was a time consuming...More

Enjoyed a delightful dinner here of cheddar cheese soup and a burger. It was very yummy. They have an extensive menu of craft beers from the area, although they did not have Von Trapp beers. Had hoped to taste some while in Vermont. Dining room...More

I think the food was better a while back, ingredients don't seem as high quality and executed as well, presentation is nice but not the most important thing to me. Also would like a little more value with the pricing being a the top of...More

Came highly recommended from a local. Now wishing we had just driven to Bristol for dinner. From the initial greeting to the wait Staff, the service was lousy. Rather than a warm greeting, our party of 9 was asked twice if we had a reservation...More

Certainly has a great "pub" feel with the taps to back it up! Food was average, even for pub fare. Service was less than attentive - kitchen was slow. Not overly busy or understaffed so not sure what the issue was. They certainly could have...More

We went to this restaurant for our first lunch in Middlebury. The tavern's atmosphere had a good vibe, but if you're interested in healthy eating, this is not the place. Everything looked delicious and probably tasted great, but as someone interested in clean eating, this...More
