Coming from out-of-town, we were looking for a restaurant to host a rehearsal dinner the night before our son's wedding. We chose Ye Olde Tavern, and couldn't have been more pleased. Michael worked with us every step of the way. Any question we had, he...More

This is exactly what you would expect from a New England restaurant. Fireplace, plastered walls, 16” wide plank boards. Such a great atmosphere. Comfort food in a great setting. Doesn’t get any better than this!

The food was good, service was good. Here are my criticisms: We made reservations on a Saturday night for 8:15, which is the earliest we could get, more than a week in advance. We arrived 15 minutes early. A couple had walked in ahead of...More

Having been disappointed by our two previous restaurant choices we visited here, knowing it would be a mid-range pub type evening; which it was, but the meal was a nice experience overall. We were looked after by 'Woijec' (sorry about the spelling!) What a great...More

Great restaurant. Good drink list. Good kids menu. Cute old house, with a few little rooms, very charming. I had the chicken pot pie and thought it was excellent.

You will not find a place with better ambience than this. If you like colonial settings and decor, this is definitely the place for you. With original 16 inch wide floorboards, fireplaces and low lighting, the tavern is a romantic escape. The "bar" area was...More

Delicious food in an authentic setting. The 220 year old taproom is a must see. The food is heavenly with choices for every palette. Excellent wine list.
