The most fabulous restaurant in Manchester Vermont - what a conundrum to have when you can’t decide between the 20 odd starters and mains! Cocktails were wonderful and Lauren’s Peppermint Mocha was quite divine if not horribly calorific. Recommend the 3 cheese French onion soup,...More

Our advice: "Just do it!" We were surprised to find this gem in Manchester. The Silver Fork has only 6 tables and serves perhaps 30 plates per night. The chef has a very impressive resume including international experience. The menu is surprisingly diverse reflecting the...More

This is a beautiful small cozy restaurant on Main with an extensive menu. The chef has a real challenge in view of all the food options. I was impressed with the friendly staff and waiter. The wine selection is international and allows for by the...More

A small restaurant, would seat only 26 if packed to capacity. 4 tables for 2 to 4, 2 tables for 1 to 2, and 6 seats at the bar. Reservations a must in season, plan well ahead, at least 1- 2 weeks even off season,...More

We traveled to the area for a short stay. I made reservations with Melody before making my hotel reservation because I had my priorities! Dinner at Siler Fork was first and foremost on our list. We had an outstanding dinner at the Silver Fork. We...More

We had a fabulous dinner at Silver Fork!! The service was phenomenal. I loved the menu... I believe they said the chef grew up on the east coast (seafood influence), was trained by a German chef and spent time in Puerto Rico..the menu was so...More

Our foursome enjoyed our meal quite a bit, but I think the kitchen was in a hurry. Ny wife's crab cake was good until you got to the bottom, which was charred and inedible.

Casual but not yard clothes. I would say what you would wear to church, but I have seen jogging clothes there. Clean, no holes something that you are not embarrassed to be caught in.

Unfortunately, I didn't think it would be appropriate for children. It's a very small, intimate restaurant.
