After leaving the Rutland area and looking for a hole in the wall we could eat breakfast at, we found Bob's Diner. Great find! Food was great, we had a lot of time to kill before a basketball tournament, so we decided to get out of town and explore. Glad we did. We had the American Standard and it was... More

We have been going to Bobs diner after skiing for many years now. It's always a busy spot for locals and passerbys like ourselves. Food is decent and the service can be spotty depending on the craziness at the time. My companion had the turkey wrap that was amply filled with meat and was more than he wanted to eat... More

While staying overnight in Manchester, we wanted some good old-fashioned diner food. We didn't want to pay for over-priced hotel food. This was perfect. We both had a beefalo burger, very good. The atmosphere was great, the waitresses were so friendly and it felt like we belonged. It is a definite local hangout, with friendly give and take from the... More

I went to the Diner on a recommendation by my partner who had been there in the past. We were both famished, since it was later in the afternoon. We each decided to have a Reuben -- she had the Turkey, and I had the traditional. First, there was hardly any corned beef or turkey in either sandwich. Reuben's should... More

I have been to Bob's for breakfast several times and always enjoy it. Their portions are huge, enough to hold you until dinner time. Great old fashioned diner atmosphere. Waitress was very attentive.

Today was the second disappointing visit in two months. It used to be good but every aspect has taken a nose dive. Starting with booths with badly torn seats to the filthy floors tables and walls. The food was awful poorly prepared and off flavors. Service was friendly enough but she never came back to refill coffees or ask if... More

Went there after a day of skiing and have eaten here before. It's a no frills Diner with a limited menu but the food is really good. You could order a dinner for around $ 10.00 at this place. They serve draft beer as well. They try to source some of their meals from local farms which I can appreciate.... More

I guess it's fair to say that we have a "thing" for diners. We find they are generally unpretentious and with the typical American fare, and you can usually get eggs anytime of the day. We were definitely attracted to the exterior of Bob's with it's classic stainless panels nicely integrated with checked tiles..... a very classic period look. We... More

If you are looking for a hearty breakfast and don't mind the drive definitely check out Bobs Diner. It is about a 20 min drive from Stratton Mountain. Good service, the prices are reasonable and food is good. I had one of the breakfast skillets which was wonderful and very filling.
