The pub is part of The Summit Lodge and a wonderful place to hang and talk to the locals or just get a drink and go to the pool or hot tub or even the couch and sit in front of the fireplace. The always have local beers and specialty drinks. They will make anything if you just ask. There... More

We really wanted to like this place. The decor is quaint, charming and so Vermont-y, but darn is the food lousy. We had a few burgers that were overcooked, stuffed cabbage rolls that were dry (and prepared wrongly with marinara sauce - and that was even bland), French onion soup that was thin, and chicken parmesan that had water-logged and... We were staying at the Summit Inn and arrived in the evening. Decided to eat here since it was in the building. The food was very good, and it was quite convenient. Very homey atmosphere, reminiscent of old Vermont ski lodges.

We recently spent a week at The Summit Lodge, Killington, VT. We visited the restaurant/bar almost everyday! The food was excellent and the service impeccable! It was such a pleasure to meet Sandy! She was so sweet and so friendly, she made us feel right at home. This is a tall order concerning that we are from the south !... More

This was a nice little bar. The service is still good and the piano player excellent but the food is not as nice. Maybe my view might be tarnished slightly by the fact that at the opposite end of the room to the bar there is a annoying loud hum from the engineering room above while at the other side... More

We visited for the 3rd time this past weekend and definitely will be back. It's not much to look at, but the food is outstanding! We had the Chicken Pot Pie, which was creamy and delicious; the Chicken Marsala, which was flavorful; and the Chicken Parm which featured a sauce so delicate and flavorful it could be served at any... When you really enjoy a place that is not as well known as it should be it can be a difficult decision as to whether you just keep the secret or let others know about it. Tempted as I am to keep the secret, this is probably the best pub/bar/restaurant in Killington. What do you want in a bar? Friendly... More
