This restaurant is extremely difficult to find. It is not in Killington. It is in Mendon. Neither our TomTom nor our Garmin could find it. It has no sign in front. The place looked rather ratty and unkempt. However the service was excellent and the rack of lamb which my wife and I both had was excellent

This restaurant (attached to a lovely Inn) is a hidden gem. The food was delicious, the atmosphere warm and inviting, and the host and staff attentive and friendly. The prices were reasonable and I can't find enough good things to say... more people should know about this place. The only downside...The sign for the Inn is on the main road,... More

Dinner at The Vermont Inn capped off a lovely July vacation in Vermont. After a week of touring, golfing, and hiking, we celebrated our anniversary with wonderful meal. My husband had a turkey dinner and I had a trout seafood medley. Both were delicious. We also enjoyed a glass of marvelous Argentine Malbec that was recommended by Mitchell, the owner/host.... More

I went for a romantic dinner with my husband. The food was great. Service as you'd expect. Fine dining but without being stuffy.

Stayed at the Vermont Inn for 2 nights. The breakfast was plenty of reason for me to come back and stay here alone. The made to order breakfast was so delicious offering you pretty much every option you could want - pancakes, french toasts, omelets, etc. I definitely filled up each morning before going out to the mountain and it... Whilst staying at the Vermont Inn during a recent skiing trip to Vermont my wife and ate in this restaurant on a number of occasions and were never disappointed. Mitchell and Jennifer who own the Inn, run a great restaurant consistently delivering quality food and great service. Pre-dinner cocktails served in the Inns "Pub" preceeds a most enjoyable evening in... More

The Vermont Inn Restaurant is a great place to eat. The breakfast for those who stay at the B&B should fit any palate. Owner Mitchell Duffy, a former experimental cook for Nabisco, handles the morning meal. Each day he features a different kind of pancake and a style of French toast (my favorite is the raison-cinimon), all cooked to perfection... More

I recently attended a Wine Dinner at the Vermont Inn during Kilington's Wine Festival. It was a fun evening and a dinner to remember. The food was fantastic. Service was also very good considering that there was only one seating and everyone being served at the same time. The wines (one with each course) were presented by one of the... More
