Complimentary breakfast as we were staying at neighbor property Barrows Inn, wow! Can't believe this was included. Breakfast was delicious and service was quick and courteous. Thumbs up!

Nestled in the mountains but a short drive from Manchester the Inn provides the perfect ambience and Vermont dining experience. We dined in the tavern in front of a lovely fireplace and were served by very attentive but unobtrusive staff. The cocktails were perfect and one of the best martinis ever. Our dinners were delicious. I would highly recommend the... More

A classic 18th century inn on a beautiful town green with a charming colonial tavern that serves excellent food (the also have a a charming dining room, and a Garden Room. We had a classic tavern brunch/lunch, which they serve only... More
This is not our first review of the beautiful Dorset Inn. Let me start by saying that the inn itself is so beautiful and inviting. Each room is so welcoming and decorated to make you feel like you are in a special place. NOTHING is overlooked, from the incredible breakfasts and dinners to the nice selection of well made cocktails... More
Dorset Inn is all you'd expect from a New England Inn. Charming, cozy, elegantly decorated, feels like home. They serve an amazing breakfast!! You will love it, guaranteed. Very polite service too. Its sister Inn, Barrows House, down the road is more updated inside and has better internet connection. They are both among the best in the area.
Stayed at the Inn & made reservations for dinner at the Dorset Inn Restraunt. The dinner was fantastic - starting with the lobster bisque soup. Service was great. Also, staying at the Inn, we had breakfast there 2 mornings. The country breakfast options were plentiful, and the daily specials were nice. Both me and my wife were completely satisfied with... More

We checked out the Christmas Menu on line before booking so were then a little disappointed to see that the menu had changed when we arrived for our meal. The Roast Christmas Goose had been replaced by a Goose pie. This was more like a casserole with... More

Celebrating an early birthday, this place was quite a treat. We started with a Northshire Brown Ale and a Lost Nation Pilsner with some delicious Mussels. Our entrees of Blackened Salmon with Shrimp sauce and New England Cod with Cabot Cheddar were also outstanding. We enjoyed the vegetable medlay as a side. Excellent choices tonight!
We went to dinner in this restaurant while we were on a 2,5 week road trip with our children. We loved the Dorset Inn, the location is beautiful and full of history. The food was really very good and the waitress helping us so sweet and helpful. If you are traveling in Vermont, please go here for the best dinner... More
