My husband and I have now stopped in twice on our way home to CT from skiing, and each time we are highly satisfied. The pies are out of this world, the pastries delicious, and the breads are fantastic. It's now a stop we will make each time we pass through!

Great bread especially their pepper cheddar and cinnamon raisin; amazing chocolate chip cookies but their cinnamon buns are anvils; they do have lunch and tables

I get the sticky buns. Some folks might call them cinnamon rolls, but that's denying their elastic, fantastic uniqueness. No two are exactly alike and the presentation of a full bag of these morsels will have most families digging for the "big one". When sharing the house with my nut allergy in-laws I eat a sticky bun in the car,... More

This place has the most awesome space ever. What could be better than sitting in a huge vaulted room tapping on your computer and smelling delicious bakery smells? A great place to hang out and do some work. Very delectable baked goods but I try not to eat baked goods, so there you go, I still go here. They have... More

This was my second visit to this bakery whose owner has 'beaten' cancer with dietary changes he had implemented and even written a book about. Besides a nice selection of bread, they also offer breakfast, sandwiches and soup. We split a hearty serving of butternut squash soup and a turkey sandwich that was phenomenal. Just enough for the two of... More

We've been here 3 times before and each time were not happy with the food offered. Bakery is good - but not special. Seating arrangements are poor and confusing. We decided not to go back again this year.

This is a beautiful wooden building just west of town with amazing breads, pastries and an eat in area for lunches.

Raspberry pie: Flakey, divine crust. Really good, fresh raspberries. Generous and delicious crumb topping. In a word - heavenly!

We stop here every time we go through Chester. The only bad thing I can say is we're always in between meals, so I've never had their lunch(soups, sandwiches), brunch or pizza, but everything smells good. (Can you eat potato soup as a snack?). I'm going to explore that next time. We always stop for bread, love the cheddar bread,... More

Bought loaves of bread. Not impressed but found the building impressive. Funky hippie vibe. No one was in sight when we entered and then a gentleman appeared at counter. Hard to decipher what he was saying and it was an awkward experience. I was happy to leave and probably won't be back. I really wanted to experience the good that... More
