I felt instantly welcome at Gastro Grub. The service was excellent throughout my meal. I asked the bartender advice about the wine being offered and I was even able to talk to the cook about the menu and recommendations that he had. I went with...More

Gastro Grub's website touts itself as a neighborhood bar with a Cheer's-like vibe. That may be but you can't eat vibes. I stopped in for dinner based on Trip Advisor recommendations and was sorry I did. I have no problem ordering from a limited menu,...More

This place is inconspicuous and a bit south of Burlington center but it's a nice find! The menu is limited but I tend to take that to mean that they know what they do well. I had a quarter pound burger and truffle fries. The...More

Gastro Grub reminded me of a mini Cheers. There clearly was an after-work crowd that knew each other and knew the bartender. To her credit, the bartender took great care of us newbies at one of the tables. She was interested in how we found...More

If we lived in town we would be here a lot! It's a tiny neighborhood bar with great 'bar food' options. Sliders, nachos, burgers all on the upscale, hip side. Also - they had games!!! We played Jenga while waiting for our food. Service was...More

A simple place, a bit noisy, but with very good food. The wings, fish taco, bacon cheese burger and truffle fries were all very good. The first beer was flat but they exchanged it for a better one. It's small with only a few table,...More

Stopped by with some friends one night and was pleasantly surprised. They have a fun game selection, great beers on tap and quality food. Not to mention great staff and atmosphere. If you want a quiet alternative to the downtown bar scene check out the...More

Not a bad place at all to stop in and dine when you are passing through town. I had the burger and truffle fries, which was fine. But, among the other options in this unusual gastropub are lobster rolls, fish tacos, port sliders, tofu tacos,...More

While it is a limited food menu, what we ordered was quite tasty! The hand dipped corn dog was delicious with a light and crispy coating, the fried Brie was excellent (though could use a few more crostini) and the burger was good. The medium...More

We loved it here! Nice staff, great drink selection (a little pricey on the beers at $6 a pop) but good prices on food. Overall a great little place to hang out off the beaten path a little! Definitely will come back
