Hen of the Woods has one of the best oyster bars in Burlington. It is a local favorite for its variety, warm and inviting atmosphere, and unique menu offerings. A must see.

We visited this restaurant for dinner on our honeymoon, and it lived up to our high expectations! We loved everything we ate, one surprising favorite was the corn ice cream for desert. Service was great, food was amazing, and wine/beer list was on point. We...More

My wife and I were looking forward to going to Hen of the Wood having been recommended by several people we know who are familiar with the area. I really didn't know that it was the most nominated restaurant for a James Beard Award in...More

This is a high end restaurant and I would doubt if dogs, other than assist dogs, would be permitted. At least, I'd like to hope that that's the case. There are some places where it's OK for dogs to be - this just isnt one... More

Yes. I believe so. The party next to me ordered a vegetarian plate and I overheard that they thoroughly enjoyed the meal.
