No welcome on arrival, server gave the impression it was a hassle having to serve us. Food was the worst we have ever had at an Indian, popodoms were burnt as was the naan bread. Meals were tasteless. Dishes were not cleared away even when...More
Visited with family, mediocre Devore, but great service. Ordered veg curries, naan, roti, dal, biryani, not impressed with any of the dishes. No Indian spice flavours, runny curry sauce and no where closer to Indian authentic food. Biryani was ok, but no where closer to...More
My husband and I have been here many times, is in my opinion the best Indian food in Burlington. The food isdelicious and you can have it spicy or mild. You have to try. ON Sundays they have a buffet.

Shalimar is one of those little places where the atmosphere is cozy, the waitstaff is attentive but doesn't hover and the food, well just wow. This is, by far, my favorite local Indian restaurant. I continue to recommend Shalimar to friends and family.
