Our server was nice. The food was good. The view is very nice. Loud and it is a brewery. We do not drink so don't know about that part. We enjoyed it.

The Whetstone Station has a very wide range of micro-brews and excellent menu. My partner and I are vegetarian, so it's always a little tricky to find good food, especially in smaller towns, but the Whetstone had a great menu with a wonderful choice of...More

Lots to love about Whetstone. Let's get started: 1. Easy to find, and sits right on river's edge, with lots of windows. In summer, looks like they've got plenty of outdoor seating also overlooking beautiful river. 2. Very friendly service. Some of these country places...More

On the most beautiful Spring day of the year (FINALLY) my husband and I went to dinner at the Whetstone Brewery. First, I have to say...you must sit outside. It is absolutely the best way to experience this restaurant. We sat on the amazing patio,...More

Terrific beers, great selection of cocktails and wine, and the food is wonderful! And there are several different places to sit: on the roof or the porch, inside by the fire, or at the bar. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Okay good, but.... TERRIBLE beers on tap and bottled; mixed drinks are horrendous. Beware the bacon Bloody Mary---it's nothing but horseradish for $10. Gross. I really should have demanded a refund for every drink I ordered because they were inedible.

Excellent food and drink along with a view of the river. We sat at the bar since the dining room had a wait list. Definite stop in the future

They do offer gluten free rolls and bread. In addition they have clearly marked everything on their menu as either gluten free or able to be prepared gluten free by request. I believe what the other reviewer meant when they... More

Whetstone Station Restaurant and Brewery combines a large casual restaurant and open air rooftop bier garten, with a small experimental nano-brewery, all located right on the Connecticut River in Vermont. We offer an "inspired pub fare" style menu, with everything from small bites for a few bucks to full entrees. Along with one, always changing unique craft beer of their own they offer dozens of guest craft beers on draft and specialty drinks, all in an amazing waterfront location. The unique round building has been restored into a beautiful fire-lit space with a contemporary and industrial vibe. Indoor and outdoor dining, perched above the river, alongside a steel bridge and nestled between the green mountains make the amazing location a "don't miss" on any visit through Vermont.
