We ate dinner two nights at this restaurant. One night we had the steak (undercooked so it was sent back and was perfect the second time) and the ravioli. Both were quite good. One night they had a Whiskey special, so that was fun to try out a few new drinks. The second night we had the burger and chicken... More

The atmosphere was nice, the service fine... but frankly the food was underwhelming. Was really expecting better from what is billed as a great restaurant. Food was solid and good for skiing. It seemed like the idea was to be refined but the practice was... less so. Deviled Eggs were deep fried, though tasty. Steak and Elk/Bison Burgers were good.... More

Just finished a four day stay at Cliff Lodge. Breakfast at Aerie couldn't be more convenient and at $20 it is a reasonable value for hotel dining. It is a buffet with the following: Omelet station- the chef does an excellent job. Waffles and pancakes. Didn't try them. It they looked good. The syrup is heated. But not maple. Hot... More

I was surprised to see negative reviews about quality of food. The ambiance and service were great, I thought the food was as well. They even brought over a free sample appetizer. The portions were generous, we did not even need two entrees so we didn't end up spending an insane amount. I would highly recommend. I was staying in... More

I love to visit Utah and frequent their amazing ski resorts. As an avid skier, getting a tasty dinner afterwards is a big part of my experience. This is my second time at the Bird and the Aerie specifically. I was not impressed with the food last year and was hoping the menu would change this year. I was sorely... More

Offering continental cuisine The Aerie has a bar, restaurant & live music some nights. It's convenient location means you don't need to go out in the cold for a good meal.

As frequent guests we were always looking forward to dine at Aerie. There used to be great sushi, miso soup, excellent take on salads and elk meatloaf. This year they resemble any other regular eatery. First of all, the food is super salty -except for side vegetables and lobster mac and cheese. They discarded sushi as non sustainable but they... So we dined here twice. Overall the place would rate 3.5 The first night the food was great. Hubby had the steak and I had the trout. Both definitely above average for the resort. It was annoying they didn't bring our cocktails until we had already finished our salads. So the service could improve. The second night was on Valentine's... More

By sharing your experiences, you're helping travelers make better choices and plan their dream This is easily the best restaurant in Snowbird (although we didn't try the Steak pit). I would give the Shallow Shaft in Alta a slight edge though. It is a little nicer and more expensive than the other restaurants in Snowbird. It's at the top of... More
