We've gone to dinner here many times over the past few years. The menu was so confusing and "the same" all the time. Well they got a new menu and it's really good. The food even tasted better than before as well. Fresher, Cleaner and more flavorful. We will be back again.

We searched for the highest rated restaurant in the area and came across this gem. The food was amazing... like best tasting food ever. It was incredible. Everything from the starter to the little macaroon they sent home with us... it was just perfect. I had the risotto, yummy! Loved the little scoops of sorbet. Loved the service. Loved the... More

The food was decadent, the service impeccable, and you can't beat the ambiance. My son is 9 years old and all of the staff made sure to take extra time to talk to him and get him extras; it was amazing and made it even that more special. A big thanks to our waitress Meg for going above and beyond... More

From New York, traveling in Utah at the moment. Arrived to La Caille is via a long winding, gated drive. The grounds are scenic. Peacocks and ducks wander about. There is a vineyard and several paths through the estate. Upon being seated our server suggested that, we take the time to go for a walk before dinner while it was... More

Great atmosphere,,snowing outside, they cleared the snow off long driveway downhill for ur safety. Very good lamb chops. Pork bellies a bit tough as an appetizer. Boulubaisse very good a little too salty. They serve small intermediate dishes in between at no cost. One can taste wine before buying a glass. Service polite friendly and fast. Bread and butter delicious.... More

We like to take friends to experience unique restaurants but La Caille was somewhat disappointing this time. I should compliment the beautiful setting, the impeccable service, and great local white wine. The food however was not up to the expectation. Everyone tried something different and here are the impressions: escargot and lobster bisque were okay, the duck was dry, the... More

Eight of us enjoyed a birthday celebration. From authentic escargot, to lobster bisque and a luscious blood orange salad appetizers were amazing! We had lamb chops cooked to juicy, sweet perfection; seared scallops served over a delicate risotto and a delicious bouillabaisse filled with luscious seafood. Everything was delicious, beautifully presented And plentiful. The service was superb as was the... More

The setting is outstanding - a French chateau beautifully decorated. Our food was well prepared and delicious. But the service was not quite up to par. We were mistaken repeatedly for another couple, seated at one table and then (somewhat awkwardly) moved to another, and brought the wrong first course. Everyone was very nice and apologetic, but how many mistakes... More

One of my absolute favorites ! ! ! ALWAYS CONSISTENT Perfection. My favorite is there House Special the Pork Chop. I know... every time I recommend them to a new guest, they say, "But I want something more exotic... I can get Pork Chops anywhere." BUT NOT like at LaCaille. They ALWAYS agree.

This iconic forty year old Salt Lake City restaurant, formerly a destination faux French Country estate set on twenty wooded acres at the foot of Little Cottonwood Canyon, (best known for Snowbird and Alta ski resorts), fell on troubled times about a decade and a half ago, with a checkered story worthy of a television mini-series, including affairs, breach of...
