The wife and I went on a Saturday night which apparently was a school dance as well in the area. It was only a 10 min wait to be seated so we thought we would give it a try. We were sat past the kitchen in the back which looked like it used to be a break room or something.... More

Me and my 75 year old mother went to eat here for lunch and my Mom has a hard time walking. The woman owner (we later found out was 71 years old) ran to help me get my Mom inside to eat. She then continued to walk with my Mom holding her arm to the table meanwhile pulling the chair... More

I had just checked into the Provo Marriott hotel and was looking for a place to eat. I set out to find a fun place to eat when I stumbled upon La Dilce Vita. Sure, why not? I walked in and was immediately greeted and seated. The atmosphere took you away to Italy and you could smell the aroma of... More

Food was wonderful but staff was unfriendly and almost rude. Arrived at 5:30 p.m. and we were the first ones there for dinner crowd; you would have thought the waitress would have preferred we not be there. By the time we left, several other groups had arrived. Too bad staff was poor because the food was decent.

No. Well, the decor is authentic. The service was pretty good. The food I ok. The pizzas seemed to be the best if you got what you ordered. The chicken Parmesan was disappointing. The Alfredo dishes were a little too much. The calzoni was ok - "now what was that that I had? " is what he said.

Pasta sampler was gross. It was too acidic and tasted like spaghetti O's Pizza tasted like digorno frozen pizza. Never coming back.

Ignored when we walked in, waited 15 mins before someone addressed us. Ordered food....it was awful. Couldn't eat it. Thank goodness Yogurtland made up for the bad taste in our mouth.

The spinach calzone is my favorite Italian meal anywhere. It is not one of those pizza omelettes like so many others calzones.they have many other great things as well. The salads aren't great and the ambience is not good. But theItalian food is excellent and the staff is usually very good.

La Dolce Vita in Provo, from my point of view, serves excellent Italian dishes in the Provo area. I especially enjoyed the lasagna, which is my absolute favorite Italian food. This restaurant has become another addition into my list of favorite Italian restaurants in the state of Utah.

My favorite foods here are the Spinach Calzone with meat sauce and the gnocci combo. I never venture beyond these two because they are so delicious. The minestrone soup is good, the salad isn't really very good (straight out of a bag and the dressings are only so-so.)
