We were completely ignored as we were waiting to be seated. There were tour buses there. When we were finally acknowledged, we were told that if we weren't with the Asian bus tours they were too busy for us, even though there were 4 empty tables. The food coming out of the kitchen looked unappealing any way. Since our money... More

Stayed overnight at the Golden Hills Hotel. Restaurant had good food at a fair price and very personal service. Definitely worth a stop.

This is my second time here. This place is a bit of an oasis between Zion and Bryce national parks. There's a good selection of fresh (and some canned) foods on the salad bar. The homemade pasta salad has been great both times. Their chowder is good as are their muffins. I've not eaten off of the menu other than... More

At first glance, this place isn't very appealing, but given the fact that an average of 2 people are working there at a time gives you an idea why it is so. This place isn't the cleanest, but their food is very good. I had breakfast and dinner here, and both excel in taste. For breakfast, I ate the Country... More

Just ok, nothing fancy. You'll get a wholesome meal that tastes good and that's it. They have desserts too. Staff isn't overly attentive, but get the job done.

We just had dinner at the golden hills restaurant as the restaurant of our hotel (best western) had a huge queue. Due to the late hour of our arrival we rushed out to find an alternative and ended up in this wonderful place. It is not attractive on the outside and the inside is also dated, the waitress which seemed... More

This was a fun restaurant so our kids could experience a typical American small town restaurant. The building was very old but the bathrooms were very clean. The rooms are crammed with family style tables and booths. The salad bar is basic but well stocked, and we enjoyed getting some veggies on the road, but the soup was a little... More

We had dinner here and it is okay. The salad buffet had a good selection. The fired chicken we had was okay. Our main problem is the cleanliness and the overall decor. We took a quick look at the restaurant in the mid-afternoon time to see what it had. It looked okay, but the floor was littered with a few... More

There are two restaurants in Mt Carmel Junction on opposite sides of the road, and it really depends on your budget! I can't comment on the quality of the food in the other, but I can tell you it was double the price and nowhere near as much choice! The Golden Hills offers a large selection of burgers (I had... Stopped by for lunch on our way to Zion. We were seated, good customer service, got our food, food was good. THEN, I went to the restroom. Very dirty, disguisting. Had I gone to the bathroom first, I would have walked straight out without giving this place a try. Food would have got 4 stars, but just can't give that... More
