The hotel clerk suggested this place to us as "the best food in Monticello." I was skeptical, but had always been intrigued by the weird sign and location and lack of people. Food was fine. There were no other customers that night, but I would never go back. The owner of this place wrote a LTE suggesting that local white... More

We were 8 people. Our last night in Monticello we ate at the Line Camp Inn. It's a bit difficult to spot when driving north on Highway 191, but it's well worth finding it. We received a very friendly greeting upon arrival. The dining room is tastefully decorated in a western theme. The food was excellent, especially the steaks. The... More

Prior to our trip to through Utah and Western Colorado, I had chosen the locations for our stays and checked out local places to enjoy a good meal. Line Camp Steakhouse was by far the best review for dinner near Monticello. However, finding it was the challenge. Our hotel manager said he did not know the name of the great... More

What an odd little place. The food was actually terrific, but the ambiance is decidedly odd. Difficult to find, when you finally do and drive into the secluded wooded driveway, it is a little scary. Ridiculous scary movie scenes begin to run through your head. Once inside, there are lots of taxidermy heads to check out along with the antique... More

First time to Monticello, we were looking for a place with local flare and we found it! The table setting was beautiful. We loved the linens and china. There were three of us for dinner on a Thursday evening. The food was delicious. We ordered a steak dinner, a salmon dinner, and a pork steak dinner to try a variety.... More

It started nice. We came an hour before dinner and asked for a place for 6. The manager pointed at a nice table and told the waitress to set it up for us. An hour later we found she moved us to a cold and noisy place because she needed the good table for other people. After insisting she moved... More

A bit out of town but worth the ride given the local alternatives. The wine selection is basic, but some different beers are on offer. Mostly steaks on offer but a couple of fish dishes are available. The building and all the old artifacts on display help make it interesting. Ask how busy they are as service slips with large... A little hard to find, not much signage to direct. Loved the decor. Down side was the food was quite expensive. $20.00 for a chicken salad! Food overall was good, but I won't be going back and would not recommend to friends.

Great food, great service, fair prices, I will go back. It was a really cool setting and we all enjoyed the old West atmosphere. They also had nice rooms available at extremely good prices. Don't miss this.

Thank Robert L
