Enjoyed a lunch of burgers, fries and shakes. Will be working off the calories for weeks! Enjoyed the bacon, ham cheese burger.

Great bugers, never pre-cooked, I had the buffalo burger and it was delicious. 60's style seating and a favorite of the locals.

If you are looking for an inexpensive burger and like a lot of variety on the menu, this is the place for you to stop. It is nothing fancy and is a lot like the "drive in diners" of the 70's. There are always a lot of locals who dine there too.

We wanted a good hamburger ... we were not disappointed. The bread was good, like slaw and meat. We tried the Buffalo Burger. A welcoming and fast service.

Thought it would be great, looked forward to a great Chile Dog.. But, the Chile was not flavorful and not a lot of it, the bud is grilled, but they then flatten it for some reason, lay the dog on it and put a little Chile on it. The taquitos were filled with something other than what normally is served... More

On our spring break road trip we love to eat at more local type places. We stopped in Kanab for the night and decided to try out a burger from Big Al's. It was a relatively small place inside but clean. My husband loved his burger. I thought it was good but not anything to fuss over. The onion rings... More

they offer beef or bison burgers - we had the latter. No one asks how you want it cooked because (evidently) the only option is medium well. They have their own 'secret sauce' which is better than Mickey D's but not real exciting. Milkshakes were good as were the sweet potato fries and the green chile burrito. The food won'y... More

It's a pleasant surprise when a local restaurant is willing to accommodate my dairy free and gluten free needs! We all ordered burgers, french fries, onion rings, and lots of their delicious fry sauce!!! Our food came up quickly and we were able to eat at their outside picnic tables. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal and there definitely wasn't any... More

The Junction as the locals call it is well renowned for their burgers both beef and buffalo. Their Shrimp basket is by far better. Great shrimp or shrimp period is hard to find at a drive-in restaurant, Not only do have them but they are the best tasting any where, My first stop when I'm in Kanab,

This place is your typical small town Utah frosty shop. They have cheap burgers and fried food, shakes, and in the winter homemade chili. If you get a regular burger it's pretty kid sized. Order the Rustler if you want a burger. There waffle fries are the best! I always get a corn dog. WAY better than McDonald's!!

We learned about Big Al's when we asked two locals where they went to eat. They were kind of reluctant to tell us, kind of glanced at each other and then gave up the name. We went at 1:30 on a Friday, and there was always a line to order the entire 45 minutes we were there. The limited menu is cooked to order, so there is about a ten minute wait for your food. This place is a hidden gem and we seemed to be the only non locals there. My green chili burrito was delicious, the sweet potato fries flavorful and others in our party were equally happy with their selections. Big Al's is located right next to a MacDonalds, and sure was doing more business.I almost hate to add it to the listing because Kanab is a tourist town, and this seems to be the local go to place that does a good business without advertising in any of the tourist publications.
