We came into this restaurant desperate for a meal. It was one of the only places we found open late in the evening. The place isn't very attractive looking. It could use some work. The food was adequate, but not great. Since we were quite hungry, it did suffice. It was on the expensive side too. But when you're finding... More

Don't go to the toilet before eating the meal! You probably wouldn't eat it afterwards. That's how dirty they are. Some of the toilets are missing and you can find only holes in the floor where they used to be. The rest of the interior looks like from 80s and nobody touched it since then. Meal was quite OK but... Wife and I stopped on 9/6 and hoped for some decent MX. Got way more than we hoped! This was Authentic and Delicious! Both had Chile Rellenos that are made with Poblano Chiles and an homemade Sauce made with inhouse Chicken Broth with Green and Red Chiles, tomatoes and onions. AWESOME! Upon arrival we found two dead roaches. The place itself was run down, the guacamole was probably just opened, made months ago! The beans were microwaved and looked unappetizing ! We should have left immediately! Not sure where the rating comes. Better off heating up a hot pocket if you have an rv!!

You will love this restaurant for good, authentic Mexican food. A big problem, however, is that it's not air conditioned-- huge when it's 90 degrees outside.

I had diabla shrimp, it was spicy and hot just the way I like it! The shrimp were large and my meal came with plenty of tortillas to wipe up the sauce. I did not care for the salsa which tasted a bit like shrimp cocktail sauce mixed with a hot sauce but the chips where nice and tasted homemade.... More

The 5 of us had a very bad experience with burgers or Mexican food as the cook put by far too much salt. It was difficult to finish our plate. We ll certainly never stop here again. Also, The waiter was not very accommodating, shy. Men restroom very dirty....

Nothing fancy to look at from the outside, but once we were inside we found good service and really tasty Mexican food. We had plenty to eat for lunch and it was fairly priced. We would eat there again.

Don't be frightened by the run-down look, and insides of La Veracruzana. The looks can be deceiving, and this is an example of that. Food is delicious, and that's what really matters. Try the meal that is listed as 'to be shared by 2' in the menu (sorry, the name escaped my memory). It is large enough for 4, served... More

If you love garlic their shredded beef for Mexican food is excellent. They use this marrinated beef in their taco salads, fajitas and burritos. My only regret is I did not Fe a burrito. Husband had Beef Manhattan. The gravey was very brown (kitchen boquet) but tasted good. Staff extremely nice. Salsa good. Seemed clean on an old building
