Not a whole lot to say about this place, the food was bland tasting, nothing stood out on their menu. I tried the "famous red taco" and not sure why i expected something something mind blowing when it was just shell taco shell dyed red. The taco meat was hardly seasoned but the rice was decent. The enchiladas were drowning... More

Authentic Mexican food. This place is legit. The food was fresh and the chips and salsa are homemade. Reasonably priced and great customer service. The booths are also decorated like little cabanas. I would come back here any given day.

This used to be the best place for Mexican food in Wichita falls but unfortunately it's allowed it quality to fall. Don't get me wrong, The Red Tacos with wine sauce continue to be worth the trip but they need to work on updating the seating. Bathrooms were fairly dirty last time we went but the service was good.

Legendary Mexican food here in Wichita Falls. The fresh tortilla chips are great as well as the salsa. The Red Tacos are my favorite but I've never had a bad dish there. Staff is friendly and quick to serve.

Been looking for some good Mexican here...and this was pretty good. First the good: yummy salsa! The chips are thick and crunchy which I decided I liked...didn't overeat so many that I wasn't hungry when the food came. Enchiladas we're good with tasty red sauce. Now the rest-Got a red taco but the waitress never told me use the "special"... More

This place must have been here for a long time by looking at it location. Went day after Christmas for lunch. Very busy. Very old menu. Did not serve some of the more popular Tex mex dishes like chicken enchiladas. Chips very thick and hard. Flavers were bland but local folks seem to like it. Service very slow and non... More

I had the cheese enchiladas preceded by the Red Taco. Someone recommended I put the wine sauce on the taco. The wine sauce had a kind of sweet taste which I did not care for. I then added a little of the hot sauce that came with the chips on the Red Taco and then I loved it. The cheese... More

This place is a must to visit if you have a chance to eat in Wichita Falls. Chips & hot sauce are great, as are enchiladas. Red tacos are their signature item & they are awesome--they have a special sauce which makes them even better! Cute cozy booths with little curtains make for a quaint eating experience, or if you... This place has a local reputation going back years (ayer) but it seems that its best days are over. The food is overly salty, poor quality, slow and pricey for what you get. The decor inside has some charm with the booths but otherwise feels a bit worn down. There were no handtowels in the men's bathroom; I ordered beans... More
