This sent a fancy place by any means, but it is certainly clean, quiet and friendly. And, assuming you grew up back in the day of small cafes and diners, you'll absolutely love it. Nice Texas style selections on the menu with lunch or dinner variations. Dinners come with the salad bar, but it can be added to the lunches,... More

Good for a large family. Nice people, yummy hot food and prompt service. Anything you order will come out fresh cooked, hot and tasty. Great chicken fried steak, cheeseburgers, hamburger steak and the desserts are a must! Cobbler and pie are out of this world. Save room for dessert!

Everything tasted soooo good except the coffee and water. The water tastes like a basement, like mildew or something. As a result, the coffee has the same taste to it since it is brewed with the water. I'm sensitive to tastes and smells though, my husband didn't notice a smell or taste to the coffee or water. I know it... More

Stopped in for lunch with a friend while visiting some stores in Weatherford and had a very good lunch served in a jiffy by a very friendly waitress. Price was very reasonable.

Overall a good experience. Hometown feeling and good food. Not gourmet but hit the spot. Service was good and sweet tea stayed full.

Went to the peach festival. Our normal restaurant was closed. Saw wanda's. Looked very local. Ok inside. Clean. Many tables. Limited menu mostly meat and fried food. Had the deep fried and broiled fish. Not bad. It met the need. Waitress was nice. Probably would not go back if I return to the area. If you need a lunch you... More

Recently, my wife and I enjoyed a dinner out, at Wanda's Restaurant, down the road from us. We both had their 3 piece catfish dinner which came with two sides and a trip through their salad bar. Our food was very tasty, the service was on time, and the price very reasonable. Even though this was not our first time... More

This is where all the locals go. Nothing fancy, but great food and service. If you go once, you probably will be welcomed as family the next visit. They might even remember what you had to eat and how you like your eggs.

The food was average, the service was slow, what I would expect in a place like this. It is a popular breakfast place based on the number of people there. We had a group of 8 and some had unusual diet restrictions that they handled but our guests were not impressed.
