This place is insanely slow, even when it isn't crowded. The food isn't anything special, but isn't bad. The don't cool the place well at all (I'm assuming to save money?) and the owner is rude. Other than that, it's top notch!

After three days of a work trip in Waco, definitely needed some healthy after all this good eating. This place was perfect. Super fresh salads, any funky hippie beverage you could desire (mmmm, kombucha) and overall just a quaint little spot in Waco!

This place is delicious. My one and only complaint is that they have REALLY weird hours and it's frustrating. Anyway, try the Bee Pollen smoothies. They are the best.

Great place for healthier options for food. Simple atmosphere. Food was very flavorful and lots of vegetarian options. Great lunch spot.

Was in Waco for a week. Found this place on my 2nd day and ate there everyday till I left. Everything we tried on the menu tasted great and healthy. Being a vegetarian there was a lot to choose from too. Recommend highly!

I honestly have only ordered the cheesy avocados every single time I have come here! They are pretty good and a healthy option for lunch.

When you're in Waco, look up this small cafe next to a gas station. The sandwiches are fresh, salads too, and the salsa has a satisfying sweetness to it. You can also get vanilla frozen yogurt. There's also the definite college feel since it's just down the road from Baylor University.

Did not know of this place until a Baylor grad invited me to give it a try. Pretty casual over the summer when crowds were slow. The nachos special of the day was good and other items were a hit. I will be back

Food for Thought is ranked # 42 on Trip Advisor. This place definitely should be in the top 10. Looks like "A college standard establishment" tight parking - what sets it apart is the food. Chicken nachos.... Not your average meal- actually fantastic! My husband had the roast beef sandwich / tomato basil soup- yum!! Finally the peach/pineapple smoothie was... More

This is a super casual place. Reminds me of a restaurant you would find in Austin. The food is unusual, but wonderful. The nachos are loaded with cheeses, homemade hot sauce, meat (if desired), peppers, tomatoes, etc. It will fill you up and have some to share with others. Lots of unique drinks are available too. You will get a... More
