There was a little wait and the help was weak but the food and atmosphere was such fun! And the chicken is the best I have ever had! And they give you vegetables and they are wonderful, Kentucky Green Beans, Creamed Corn, Black Eyed Peas and Mashed Potatoes and Salad for three plus wine for under $50.00! Who does that!

Had a wonderful lunch. We went mid afternoon on a Thursday and had no wait. The decor is a 50s theme and fun to see. I had a chicken salad sandwich and it was very good! Also had banana pudding for dessert, which also was delicious. Prices were average.

Don't miss lunch at Jake's. In addition to the food and service being excellent, for those who grew up in the 50's and 60's, this is a great walk down memory lane. The memorabilia, mostly automobile and old gas stations. is incredible. For example, the seats in the booths are made from the front seats from cars like the 57... More

It was very busy but we didn't wait too long for anything. We had a variety of food and it was all great! The banana pudding was the highlight and I would go back just for it. My son loved his food coming out in this cool car and really liked looking at all of the decorations.

Jake's is one of my go to business lunch stops. The lunch special today was outstanding in both quality and value.

Found Jake's quite by accident, and what a pleasant surprise it was. The food was reasonably priced, and tasty. The salad was made at the table and very good. The family style service made for a very crowded table. And the eatery seemed short on waiters, but it was the Sunday after church crowd. Loved the atmosphere, location, and sentimental... More

Unique retro dinner with above average food. The chicken fried chicken was juicy and fried to perfection. The chicken spaghetti was seasoned nicely. The broccoli salad was the best we have ever had. We enjoyed the old cars and toys from the 50's. The staff was outstanding. We will return.
