Staff always friendly and helpful. Food is the best! Does not matter, breakfast, lunch or dinner, you will love the experience. And DO NOT forget dessert! Shop and you find quality items you just can't find elsewhere. Plan to spend at least half a day here.

Great food and friendly service. A very nice setting. Love their Farm-To-Table dinners. It is a part of a craft village that is amazing!

I had a 1/2 sandwich and soup and my girlfriend had the hamburger. It was very good and the service was good. We would eat here again.

My husband and I stopped here for lunch on way through Waco - it was wonderful! The staff was very nice, the food was excellent and it really didn't take long despite the fact that the place was packed.

They have the best breakfast made from scratch with blueberries!! Everything there is good and raised or grown on the land! There is also a pottery making place and gristmill and wood furniture making. An overall neat place to eat and visit!!

Had breakfast at the cafe this morning and it was amazing. The omelet had all organic, fresh veggies, homemade cheese and turkey bacon. Very flavorful . My husband enjoyed the Mediterranean platter. Both plates were very large filling meals, won't need to eat til dinner time. You won't be disappointed in making the trip to Homestead cafe, make sure to... More

Went here for lunch and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The service was terrific and the Rueben was outstanding. We ended the meal with a great piece of coconut pie. Would definitely go back

I love the concept of the homestead but I was disappointed by how much our meal cost. The food is certainly good but I don't think the overall experience, food or service warrants those high prices.

good food and service - a long wait though - but the prices are pretty high - at least for Waco standards - and the food is good - not GREAT - the ice cream is good though

Description
Cafe Homestead serves deliciously healthful food in the unique setting of a traditional craft village in our sustainable, organic farming community. We offer grass-fed beef; fresh buns, bread and rolls baked daily from whole-grain flour by Artisan Oven; cheeses produced by our community’s internationally award-winning Brazos Valley Cheese company; and other fine foods, including our all-natural, delectable ice cream. Our fruit and vegetables are always fresh, and we strive to provide locally grown produce. Begun in 1994 as a small deli, Cafe Homestead has grown to become a restaurant serving over 45,000 guests a year and is widely known for its menu of traditional Texan, Mediterranean and specialty cuisines. Before or after enjoying a relaxing meal served by friendly people from our farm community, visit our craft shops, Gift Barn and Model Homestead and take a Hayride to our scenic overlook.
