I looked at the menu ahead of time and noticed they serve breakfast all day - it seems to be their thing. One of the busboys was wearing a shirt that said, "You know you live in TX when you eat BBQ for breakfast." Never heard of BBQ breakfast, but why not? I got eggs, brisket, biscuits, and potatoes -... Look how small this is for $2.95. This is a women's small hand. Pathetic! We eat here a lot for dinner. I won't order their tacos again. AND they can't seem to hold the cheese. We asked for no cheese on all 8 tacos, 4 had cheese. Not good for a lactose intolerant family. 2nd time we've tried their tacos.... More

Ribs good, but cold. Mashed potatoes & beans also good, but cold. High priced BBQ (they used to have a menu board, but took it down-$30 for 2 adults & 1 child lunch-rib plate, salad with grilled chicken & chicken strips), should have been hot at 2 pm, they had their meats stacked up over the top of their warmers.... I had heard good things about HCS from a friend so I thought I would try it out. I got a pulled pork dinner with cole slaw and baked beans. Rolls are on your own choice, so I got a cornbread muffin and dark rye roll. It just before noon, so I'm thinking the lunch crowd hadn't been through yet.... More

The best place I've found in Houston, Spring or Tomball for BBQ! Pappas is really good but I travel out of my way to go here. The ribs are amazing! Fresh bread - 3 different kinds. Boiled peanuts! All the sides rock! Stuffed potatoes, chicken- all of it is finger lickin' good! They use paper towel roles for napkins! Worth... More

Lean BarBQ, awesome service, as much bread as you want, and pie! I love the baked potatoe with brisket and the meat plate is wonderful for my husband.

The wife and I met some other couples there. Our first visit. The atmosphere is pretty cool. Kinda like being in a barn. The food was great. I had a big baked potato with chopped beef. Mmm. I took a bite of a friend's chicken fried steak. Good stuff.

If you have a choice to eat at another BBQ place go. This is passable but with so many good BBQ places in the Houston there is no need to settle for less than great. They have a good atmosphere but just short on the food. The best is the chicken, but it had to be one of the smallest... More

Their so called Bar-b-que, leaves a lot to be desired. Taste as if it was boiled at some point and then maybe put on the pit. The Bar-b-que sauce, will it just sucks and has plenty of water in it to say the least. Priced to high. Want go back. 😞

We ate breakfast here today. They usually have very good breakfast. This morning I ordered the 2 taco combo and one taco the eggs were raw...gross!! The other taco with cooked eggs was good....Sigh. I will probably be back though since its usually very good here.

Thank Nicole J

We serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner to make sure that you get your BBQ fix any time of day, any day of the week. We like to cook, smoke, and bake our food the same way it was done 40 years ago. That's why every fresh egg is cracked by hand and every brisket spends all night in the smoker. We were raised in the restaurant business, which is why you will feel right at home at Harris County Smokehouse.
