I was in town for some business, so I'll just stopped on in for lunch. The interior is a tribute to some local guys taxidermy skills, there were probably 50 different stuffed animals looking down at you as you eat your food. I ordered the two meat plate with the tri-tip and the brisket, fried okra and pinto beans. The... More

Clem's offers a very good menu. I've had about all of it. My wife always has the hamburger steak and lobe it. I either get the grilled shrimp or the 12 oz. ribeye. The bar-b-que is excellent. All that to say that you can't go wrong.

Good BBQ -try it without the sauce first ==It stands alone. The sausage has enough spice to be tasty but not overpowering. The brisket is always tender and moist

Best BBQ I've had in a longtime. I tried the sausage too, excellent. I can't wait to go back. Here's a pic of the decor!

Food pricey, not as tasty as lead to believe. Bottom line disappointing. Chicken on the dry side and pork ribs were on the lean side. Needed BBQ sauce for flavor.

If you're looking for really good food at a fair price and in a super atmosphere, then this is the place. Clem's has been around Temple for a long time, and it's now better than ever!

I had not been here since they quit having the buffet, so I was surprised at that change. We had a terrific waitress and most of us had the 6 oz. sirloin. It was cooked just right, and it is just the right size. For sides there are a lot more than your usual BBQ place. I had country noodles... More

I had the 2 meat (Brisket and Tri-Tip) and two sides (potatoes and gravy along with a green salad). This may be silly but the salad was terrible. Maybe it was their choice of using that dark green bitter tasting lettuce. Maybe just my taste buds? But the Potatoes and Gravy were very good and both meats and my wife's... More

Decided to stop on our way home from Waco. Was greeted byb2 sweet young women as soon as we walked in the door. We were seated immediately. Our waitress, Kimberly, was the sweetest server we've had in a very long time. Took a bit of time with everyone of her tables to actually talk to her customers. We ordered the... More

Waitress was very nice and efficient. Excellent butter chip pickles and very fresh bread. The brisket wasn't very good and the sausage was bland. The potato salad was terrible as well.
