I don't know why I always forget how good this place is, and also how overlooked it is for fine dining. The food is excellent. My husband had some of the best grilled shrimp pasta he's ever had and I had an excellent fish. The wine is reasonably marked up. We were only the second table of diners on a... More

My Wife & I attended a dinner for a celebration with friends. They started us off with Plantains and a green sauce that was very delicious. Next we had the Baked shrimp that was so good it tasted like it was fried. My wife had the Equadorian White fish with vegetables which she loved, & I had the New York... More

This restaurant is very nicely decorated. The food was great and mojitos were strong. Staff very attentive. Needs more business.

Beside the food, ambience, attention, etc. we love the fact that you never feel hurried to get through and get out. Someone earlier described the service as slow but its perfect for a lovely evening of visiting and dining. If you are wanting to eat American Type A style, I'm sure if your let them know, they can oblige. We... More

Well worth the visit for a special occasion. Service is a little slow, but the entrees were worth the wait. Try the Chocolate Tres Leche cake too!!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoy eating at Fernando's. It is a quality dining experience. The food is always delicious, and the service is impeccable. We usually eat here using a Groupon that I've purchased, and there is never any hassle about that. Just great food, great service, in quiet, relaxing surroundings. It's our go-to place for a nice meal.

I have eaten here several times usually because of a Groupon I purchased to save money. Their food is really good and you have a variety of things to choose from. It can be a little on the expensive side though depending on what you order but it is definitely worth a visit every now and then.

We celebrated two birthdays this past week and dined at Fernando's. The atmosphere is fantastic, quiet at our table. Our service was just right, not over attentive and no unnecessary wait between courses. Now, we really enjoyed our meals, fish, chicken, pasta and of course the speciality, carne asada. All in all a great restaurant for a nice occasion!

The food here is fabulous. I was again taken for my birthday. It is a restaurant we can go to and relax with great food and great service. I highly recommend it. My husband and I have gone there for lunch and we take family there for special occasions. My husband love it for a date night.

Thank Carolee D

Fernando’s offers the rich culinary experiences of Spain, Italy, Mexico and South America all under one roof. Diners are treated to daily specials, as well as menu items all prepared with fresh ingredients that Fernando picks up from his daily visits to the markets. South American steaks, Latin fusion dishes and pastas are some of the standouts on the menu. Weekend diners can enjoy live music performances from 8-10 p.m., and you should never be surprised to see Fernando waiting on tables and taking care of his guests. Not only is he the owner and manager, he is the chef, host, waiter and even bus boy on occasion. Zagat rated from 2008-10, Fernando's also has private rooms available and is a great location for private parties or events. Pay Fernando and his staff a visit in Sugar Land soon!
