I would rate them a five but service is often slow to the point of annoyance. However, food is good and they have a good Philly cheese steak. Being from PA I get the urge. Never ate anything bad there.

Inept waitstaff, completely indifferent management, cold inedible "food", no refills, didn't bring everything, and didn't even bother to apologize. Basically they said, "Oh well. These things happen...so you are going to pay for that though, right?"

Had to wipe crumbs from booth before sitting. Waitress slow to show up. Ordered water with lemon and an iced tea. No lemons came with drinks. "Did y'all want lemons?" At least we did not have the waitress with the nosering. Hamburger came out without mustard. "I wanted to get it out to you while it was hot." Of course... More

My wife and I had never been here before because the name of the restaurant just seemed, well... cheesy. We had imagined stadium food or something. Tonight, we were hungry and in a hurry. So, since we were staying at the hotel behind the restaurant, we said what the heck. Upon entering, we were surprised by how nice it actually... More

First time and it was a more than pleasurable experience. Dined with our grandkids-very accommodating to families! Food was awesome-catfish, redfish, salads, mac and cheese-light and full of flavor. Even the salad dressing was incredible-tomato vinaigrette. All so delicious!!! Service was wonderful. Thanks!

We were very hungry following a warm day of shopping, and didn’t want a burger, or Mexican, or any one of the other ethnic restaurants in San Antonio. In front of the hotel, about 100 feet away was Cheddars, in Selma, Texas. Great choice! CHEYENNE was our server, and she was one of the nicest, sweetest, most helpful servers we... More

We visit Cheddar's other SA and Houston locations and are always pleased with the service and food. Chose this one for its proximity to family and because of our experiences at other locations. Guess this one missed out on their Customer Service training. Seated for 15 minutes before even seeing a server. Seems our assigned Server got lost and his... More

Service was certainly better than the last time I was here. Service was what was expected and food was pretty good also. Plates were served quickly and servers were very attentive. Much better stop than before.

My husband & I love this Cheddar's. The atmosphere is just great and you couldn't ask for better prices for the delicious food on their menu. Our waitress (Laterrika) give the best service. I highly recommend this Cheddar's. You can go wrong with anything here. Sincerely, BAR

Spur of the moment visit, glad we did. Tried the Key West Chicken & Shrimp, Grilled Chicken Alfredo, & Top Sirloin & Chicken Tenders and all three Mini Desserts. Excellent choices all. No excuse for not visiting more often, except it's a pain navigating the constant heavy traffic and weird intersections. Worth the hassle though.
