The food was good if you like spicy. The atmosphere was laid back and it was a fun experience with the grandkids. You do have to crack your food and it's poured out on the table for you to eat with your hands. I don't care for spicy food so it wasn't my favorite but if you do. You will... More

This place is unique, delicious & fun. It is very very messy, so be prepared to throw proper etiquette out the window.

Exactly what we expected, Cajun style dining. Hot & spicy with everything served directly on your table. Service was fine. Oysters on the half shell were great and kids enjoyed the messiness of fine dining. Prices were fair.

This is the real Cajun deal. The first thing we noticed was the parking lot was made out of crushed oyster shells. Then we saw a truck pull up with fresh seafood from the boat! They didn't have any blue crab because their trap broke, but they replaced it with more shrimp in the boil. The food was great and... More

Poor service The food is extremely spicy and the only food choice is the boiling pot And just poured out on the table Not worth the cost

This place is expensive it's relatively dirty inside and most importantly they were sold out of crab and crawfish and it's expensive so all our buckets had corn potatoes and some shrimp one of our buckets didn't even have any potatoes in it it was really sad. First and last time most likely.

You need to make a stop here for some amazing seafood!! It's always busy but the wait is never too long. I recommend eating family style to get the best deal. Their crawfish are just the right kind of spicy and the sides are always great!!

I didn't like crawfish at all...Until I went here! We were camping at Goose island State Park and we had planned on cooking but the weather was horrible. This restaurant saved the day and our very wet camping trip. They have a limited menu, it's all crawfish, shrimp, crab, with sausage, corn and potatoes. You pick what combo you want... More

My husband and I traveled to Rockport with another couple for a fishing and kayaking holiday in February 2017. We had a wonderful dinner at Shempys Grill and one of their local customers told us about the Boiling Pot. I love cajun/creole food so this was a must stop for me. The menu is quite simple and there was more... More

Food was over boiled. Corn and potatoes had picked up spice from fish party...made it unpleasant to eat. Decor was terrible. Wait staff though very friendly...price is okay.
