Friendly, curtious service, affordable, full bar! I am a fan of the green sauce! I had the Talipia with zucchini. . The restraunt is huge, patio seating, can accommodate super large parties, easy parking. Large menu, seafood and steak! Location right on 79 N bound side. I am certain you will enjoy eating here!

Chips and salsa were good. Chile rellenos were very tasty. Lots of food! Next time my husband and I would share a plate. Crispy tacos were light and tasty. All in all a very good experience. Staff were attentive and friendly.

The only dish that I would say is good is the Jalapeno Beef. I've eaten here 4 times. Tacos are nothing special, fajitas are also nothing special. Enchiladas and tamales are average. Salsa and chips, I've had a lot better. But, the drinks are good, that's why people come here. Interior is very worn and could use a remodel.

We went in with a party of 20 after showing cattle all day. They greeted us warmly and provided a table right away. The server was attentive. She did not mind separate checks for many of us, did not miss a thing on our order and refilled everything in perfect time. She was amazing. The green salsa and chips was... More

We stopped by late (9:30) on Friday night. The parking lot was packed and we soon found out why. The food was excellent. Typical Tex-Mex with outstanding flavor. There was green and red salsa...both had great flavor. Will eat here again if in town.

I am very precise with my food and Julio's is the only place that can accomadate to my taste. I ordered the shrimp diabla, which was delicious and spicy! The way I love my food! Don't let me forget about the fresh chips with warm melting queso and fried avocados! I definately reccomend the BIG RED MARGARITA! A lot of... More

I am from the Alamo City, so my standards of Mexican food might be a little higher than most people from the central and northern parts of Texas. The food here was not that good. This place would flop big time in San Antonio. Food was not fresh and have to say was some of worse mexican food I ever... More

Stopped in with family for late lunch so the place was not busy. Service was still mediocre even though there was only one other family there. The tostados were very good, but the salsa was BLAND. We tried an array of different things as there were 7 of us, and found that everything was bland, tasteless. We like spicy, tasty... More

Julio's was the only restaurant open on fathers day in Rockdale so we decided to try it. The food was average - not the best mexican food I have ever had but it was ok. The staff was very friendly and the service was fast. I had the shrimp Caribbean which said it was shrimp wrapped in bacon. I have... More

My fiancé had a great meal here a few years ago, so we tried it again when we were in Rockdale for work. It was probably one of the worst restaurant experiences of my life, and I eat out 2-3 times a week. When we walked in, we were seated by a surly teenager in a football jersey. The majority... More
