This place is always packed when we have gone. Food is ok, but I think people come here for the atmosphere. Lots of people meet up here after work or for TV football games.

Although jack and grill has a great selection of craft beers at a reasonable price I can not recommend you visit this place. To say the service is subpar would be to kind. We were enjoying our drinks and our waitress asked if we would like to order and we said not yet. My wife advised when we do order... More

Our first visit to Roanoke and walking the Square we decided to take a rest and have a drink and a snack, We had the Hot wings and fried pickles and a craft beer and margarita. Our server was fast and friendly and brought a small plastic to-go bowl of water for our little dog, Food was VERY Good and... More

We have been coming here for a long time - since they originally opened. We have gotten fed up with the lack of knowledge of beers and the mismatched glassware, but we kept coming back. No more. We have been here on so many consecutive occasions during "Happy Hour" where we have subsequently gotten a bill that is incorrect. Beers... More

Food and service are good. Nachos is a favorite but seem to be cutting back on ingredients lately. Nice place to watch sports.

We popped in here after a business meeting. It seemed that there are a lot of regulars, which is always a good sign. While we were tempted to have BBQ that we could really dig into, we had to order dishes that were slightly less messy, as we were heading to another meeting. Our server, Quartney, provided lots of good... More

No doubt the wings are good but at $1.20 each they should be! Additionally, fully understand the whole Texas hopped-up craft beer thing but feel as if a few cheapo drafts like a Miller Lite would be welcomed by more than you might guess....Super bar staff 4-5 times I visited.

The food here is REALLY good - the service is NOT! It took about 10 minutes before a server approached us. After receiving our food, the server came back only one time - right after we got our food. Never saw him again! We had to get up and get the iced tea pitcher to serve ourselves! Maybe just a... More

Good food--recommend the jalapeño gravy. They have a decent beer menu to choose from. Our server was very professional and speedy!
