Had a nice table by the windows, giving us a lovely view of the bay. Food was good and plentiful. Shared a cup of the shrimp bisque to start. Ordered the special that night, which was fish tacos. Tasty and HUGE. Took one of the two tacos home for lunch the next day.

Thank you for your review. The shrimp bisque is a great appetizer and the fish tacos are also very popular. We hope to serve you again soon. More

While you can spend a few dollars more than you might at a roadhouse, Pelican Station offers it all with a nifty view. From 50 cent Oyster Shooters on Mondays to a great Mushroom burger or even a killer Veracruz, great tastes! Frankly, the only reason we are not a 5 stars here are the acoustics. The place can get... We have to agree with your kind review. Thank you for dining at Pelican Station. My favorite would have to be the beautiful view. You may be able to spot a few fireworks on Fridays during the summer. More

At a camping rally on S Padre, we ventured out for dinner, and found this place. Atmosphere was great, servers knowledgable and attentive, and food was fabulous. I had a salad and the crabcake appetizer for dinner. Crabcakes are served with what I'd call Shrimp Etouffe, but they say it is shrimp in a white wine and butter reduction. Whatever... More

Waited for over 25 minutes for a table before we were finally seated. Waited another 20 until we were finally greeted by our server. Both the grilled and blackened flounder were just, meh. Wife liked her fried shrimp. Neither kids liked their meals and said their French fries tasted like the ocean. The experience left us a little disappointed.

We went here twice. Once for happy hour on a Monday ($3.50 Dos XX pints) with 1/2 price oysters - yum. My wife had the clam chowder which we both thought was exceptional. Right on the water with a nice view of the bridge to South Padre Island. We went back for dinner on the following Saturday at 6pm. It... More

The inside is a little upscale so decided to make this our last dinner in the area. The food was okay but not as good as Joe's Oyster Bar and the prices are higher.

Wow! We brought our cleaned fresh caught fish here and they did a fabulous job. It costs $8 per pound and you get one choice of side per pound. Good portions of side dishes. Vegetables were fresh a perfectly made. The fish was done to perfection. We did have to wait a bit and it was after the dinner rush.... More
