My favorite Mex and Tex-Mex place in Plano and that is a tough one as there are so many good ones. Anamia's has the edge though with their table-side guacamole, chili con carne and tender and tasty fajitas-oh and the bean soup, YUM! Lastly, the bartender there knows how to do it; fantastic drinks and atmosphere.

We went to AnaMia's as a last minute late family lunch. There were only 2-3 other tables occupied at the time of our visit. It's was clean and wait staff looked clean and neat. There was a bit of a delay in seating as no one was at the door. The food was GREAT! I believe the queso was way... More

Our service was lacking and had to constantly keep asking for things we asked for Once and twice before,. The servings size were adequate but not really appearance wis appetizing as presented. If you don't have enough wait staff then you have internal issues ' I,like Anamias food but this last Sunday I wasn't pleased with the service nor the... More

Always love the tableside guacamole. Shrimp brochette to die for and the chicken fajitas picante are just great.

Each of us tried a different dinner, all was satisfactory. The burritos were small but with plenty of sauce on the side. The chips and crispy taco shells had an excellent corn taste but were a little overcooked. The rice was flavorable but some at the table thought it could have been moister. The sopapillas were the fluffy kind and... More

We had two of the lunch specials and the brisket tacos were something special. The refried black beans seemed a little too salty, but overall the food was good. I liked how they put poblano peppers in their cabbage slaw. Definitely a Texas take on Mexican food. It was super busy and loud during the lunch hour, but I want... More
